Our 304 Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange is manufactured from ASTM A182/A182M stainless steel forgings and round bar blanks, produced with precision CNC machining to deliver high dimensional accuracy and excellent corrosion resistance. It is widely used in pipeline connections, chemical, oil and gas, water supply and drainage, and mechanical equipment piping. Both standard parts and non-standard OEM/ODM customization are available.

Production Process (5 Steps)

1. Raw Material Preparation - ASTM A182/A182M compliant stainless steel forgings or round blanks; material certificates and blank dimensions verified to control raw material quality from the source.
2. Rough Machining & Forming - Rough turning of the outer diameter and face, pilot hole pre-machining with finish allowance, completing the basic flange contour.
3. Finish Machining & Drilling - CNC finish turning of the neck profile, sealing face and finished outer diameter; precise drilling of 8 bolt holes for accurate hole positioning.
4. Surface Treatment & Inspection - Stainless steel passivation to improve corrosion resistance, precision polishing; full dimensional and neck-profile inspection with calipers and micrometers, laser marking of model identification.
5. Finished Goods Outbound - Fully inspected and packed weld neck flanges ready for shipment and delivery.

Notes

1. Handling and storage: the sealing face is a precision-machined surface. Take care during stacking and handling to avoid bumps and scratches that affect sealing.
2. Installation: clean impurities and burrs from the sealing face before installation; tighten bolts evenly in a diagonal sequence to prevent leakage caused by uneven stress.
3. Environment: 304 stainless steel resists ordinary corrosion. For strong chloride conditions (concentrated seawater, high salt fog), please confirm material selection in advance.
4. Storage: keep in a dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid long-term open-air stacking.
5. Selection: confirm pressure rating, pipe diameter and flange type before purchase to avoid mismatch.

Shipping & Packaging

1. Single-piece protection: protective film on the sealing face, individually wrapped in dust bags to prevent scratches in transit.
2. Outer packaging: reinforced export carton / wooden case with internal cushioning foam to prevent bumps and deformation during long-distance transport.
3. Shipping documents: material certificate and product inspection report included; products laser-marked for easy customer acceptance.
